I make rings as if they were sculptures. They are objects we can wear.
Like a piece of clothing wrapped around our body, the sculpture-ring fits the finger with a refined balance of negative and positives spaces. Each opening brings lightness which voluntarily lets the skin breath and be seen.
Strength and lightness.
Power and smoothness.
Solid and empty.
The extent of a shape and the outline of a curve are interesting only if opposed to emptyness.
When I create a ring I like to find the right balance between the weight on the finger and the lightness and softness of the curves.
