IBU JEWELRY

Skin, IBU used to say, is far more precious than diamonds. Forms are simple and elegant. The lines, sober. Gold pieces are satin-finished on the outside and shiny on the inside. Pearls, stones, chosen for their imperfections. In 1998–2000 IBU was invited to present her jewelry during Chanel Haute Couture shows. For three Haute Couture collections, her belts, necklaces, headbands, and pendants highlighted silhouettes designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Today one of Paris's leading luxury jewelry workshops continues to produce faithfully her creations.
